Nicholas Talerico is a photographer whose work explores nostalgia, identity, and memory through quiet, poetic imagery. Raised in a small Michigan suburb, the pace and atmosphere of that environment continue to shape his photographs, often surfacing in subtle gestures of place and human presence. Driven by his own emotional response to the world, Talerico’s work emerges from recurring feelings of nostalgia and melancholy, seeking to render the bittersweet weight of those emotions into something visual. Alongside his photographic practice, he currently serves as an associate curator for Subjectively Objective.
